KASK Forum 2012

9-11 March 2012

Starting late Friday afternoon, 9 March, with Saturday and Sunday the main forum. For those who can take Monday, 12 March off, camping at Okains Bay Sunday night and a day trip out of Okains Bay on Monday. This (Monday) is separate from the forum and its costs.

Venue: Wainui, Akaroa Harbour on Banks Peninsula, about 1 hour drive from Christchurch.

BP 500:

Accommodation and food supplied. This means you can devote your time to sea kayaking and networking, to soaking up information without the additional hassles of organising meals and a tent.

Wainui is away from the more shaky bits of the Peninsula, and has the added bonus of some interesting coastal features with a choice of sheltered or open sea nearby. Features include caves, sea stacks, seals and dolphins.

There will be a range of sessions covering paddling skills, kayaks and trips.

To attend you do NOT need to be a KASK member, everyone who is interested is welcome to come.

NSW Sea Kayak Club - Rock 'n' Roll

24-25 March 2012

Venue: Currarong, just north of Jervis Bay, about 3 hours drive south from Sydney.

Rock 'n' Roll is the annual gathering of the members of NSW Sea Kayak Club. It is the highlight of our club calendar. Usually get from 120-150 members, and partners/families, there. There are on-water trips and training with night time talks and dinner.

The major guest is Stu Trueman with the theme of 'Aussies paddling around Australia'.




CSKNet Wednesday Paddle

Meet at Cass Bay, Lyttelton each Wednesday morning, on the water 9.30 a.m. sharp. Bring morning tea and something to drink - back at Cass Bay around midday.
